Introduction
These terms of use govern your use of our website; by using our website, you agree to these terms of use in full. If you disagree with these terms of use or any part of these terms of use, you must not use our website.
Your order
By placing an order on our website, you are accepting these terms and conditions as well as our privacy policy.
Once an order has been placed through our website, we automatically enter into a contract with you to supply the products you have selected at the price indicated on our website.
When we have received the order from you, we will send you an acknowledgement via email to the email address you have supplied to us to confirm receipt, following this your order will be processed.
Please note: this acknowledgement is NOT an acceptance of an order, acceptance of the order and the completion of the contract between us The Teak Store and you the customer will take place once the goods have been paid in full and dispatched by us.
We do our very best to ensure that all our prices and descriptions are up to date, however, in the event a mistake has been made we will notify you as soon as possible and we will give you the choice to proceed with the order at the correct price/specification or to cancel the order and you will receive a refund for the full amount. If we contact, you and there is no response after 7 days your order will automatically be cancelled and refunded.
Prices
Prices quoted on the web site include VAT at the current rate but may be subject to a delivery charge (this will be clear on the checkout page). Quoted prices do not form part of a legally binding contract until our acceptance of your order.
Payment
Online payments may be made by debit or credit card. Offline payments may be made by cash or direct bank transfer. Payment using a debit or credit card is taken at the time you place your order and is processed using an independent company’s secure payment processing system. We do not see, or have access to, any of your payment card information.
Cancellations
Unfortunately, due to the nature of The Teak Store we are unable to cancel orders that have been placed for delivery in the next 48 hours, this is due to us being extremely fast-paced. If you have placed an order with a future delivery date you need to contact us at least 72 hours before your planned delivery date if you do not, we are unable to carry out the cancellation.
Delivery
We use a courier service and our own delivery vans to deliver your products, there can in rare cases be delays with deliveries, in the rare and unfortunate event that your delivery is delayed more than three days, please contact us and we will try to resolve this as best as possible, this is on an order to order basis and compensation can not be guaranteed. We will always try to keep you up to date with your delivery. We would always state that you Do Not book any events until you have received your goods as we can take no responsibility for lost money. It is a one-man delivery service that is to kerbside only although they may help you they are not contracted to, couriers will not take furniture into properties or up any stairs. If you live in a block of flats your delivery will be made to the ground floor. If when your products are delivered and you notice any damage to the outer packaging please sign for the delivery as damaged even though it might not be damaged on the inside if there is any it will help with our enquiries with the courier in the future. Our flat delivery fee is applicable to most mainland UK postcodes however there are extra charges for certain areas such as the highlands, you will find out what your extra delivery fee is if there is one for your postcode at the checkout.
Returns
You can return your items if they are no longer suitable within 14 days after delivery. Your items must not have been assembled or modified and must be returned in the original packaging. When you return your items, we will deduct a 25% restocking fee from your refund. Find out how to arrange a return and how much it will cost on our 14 day returns policy page.
Damages
All damages must be reported within 24 hours from delivery, photo evidence will need to be sent in with damage visible and the furniture must NOT be assembled or modified otherwise this will void a refund or replacement.
General Warranty Information
This guarantee excludes damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse or normal weathering Any offered warranty does not cover defects caused by the application of teak oil, varnish or wood stain. The warranty does not apply to furniture which has been placed on an uneven surface which as a result has caused the table to warp or caused opening/closing mechanical problems. For maximum longevity of your furniture your teak furniture should be placed on an even surface.
Warranties only cover the original purchaser, and a receipt of purchase must be provided, any damage that is deliberately made, occurring during assembly or which has happened because of negligence, malice, water damage and similar events will void warranty. If damage has occurred following the use of unsuitable cleaning chemical products are also not covered.
Pre-Order
While we strive to meet all pre-orders, we reserve the right to immediately cancel or amend any pre-order placed over the phone or on the internet. Any expenditures incurred as a result of cancelling or changing the pre-order will not be our responsibility.
Property Rights
The Teak Store and/or our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website.
The use, download, copying, publishing, transmitting, reproduction or otherwise making available any of the material or content contained on this site for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

Website and Social Competitions
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. You are providing your information to The Teak Store and not to Meta. The information you provide will only be used for administering this promotion and contacting the winner. The specified number of winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries that are submitted by the time noted on each specific Facebook or Instagram post. In event of any dispute the judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner will be notified via comment on the Facebook or Instagram post unless otherwise noted. The Teak Store shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within ten business days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as may be required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all laws and regulations. Any violation of these official rules by the winner will result in the winner's disqualification as winner of the competition/campaign and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated.
See individual Facebook or Instagram post for exact description of prizes. No cash alternatives will be offered. No purchase is necessary to win. Purchase does not enhance the chance of winning. This contest is void where prohibited. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by The Teak Store. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at our discretion. The prize is non transferable. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for The Teak Store to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Competitions are open to entrants who are 18 years of age and over and is open to the UK only. This competition is not open to employees of The Teak Store and their affiliates, agencies, suppliers, sponsors and members of employees’ immediate families.
Statutory Rights
The consumer’s statutory rights are unaffected by the contract they have with The Teak Store.
